When I started to write My brain relapsed And I became blind. I resembled A broken record. I was standing by the fence with a bag in my hand Feeling sad and confused.i just didn't understand The day of departure was near,a voice came screaming I thought I was dreaming Reality,I planned to face with no choice I felt so nervous but I knew soon I might rejoice Devasted I felt, but I had a giant step to make That feeling I had was no mistake These thoughts of circulation went through my mind As I thought one day will look behind To a place I call home As my feet stepped on the street of the city,i knew my new basement to lay my head each night A scruffy corner,i guess to be right Encountering alot of misery untold Waiting for others to be unfold To face the war,i had to hustle through Realizing i threw the truth Drawing my past made me knew I had much to renew. Every human being has got this kind of strange voice within our heads which either motivates, accuses, and causes us to do or make certain decisions in our daily lives. Some scientists have tried to explain this to be part of our natural, in-built potential to overcome pain, discomfort, stress, and even failure. Most often we do hear people saying, "I can hear a voice inside of me, telling me 'this' and 'that", but have we taken much time to analyse the outcome and circumstances for which we hear such voices? Maybe not. A successful businessman may psyche his mind that no matter the voices he keeps hearing in his head, there's no such thing as QUITTING ;whereas one who is striving so hard that he has to fight the thought of QUITTING will also make you understand that it is a constant situation.           Ask me and I will tell you that there are million ways with which this voice interacts with us day in and day out.           I am purposely writing this article just to acknowledge the massive efforts Americans have made to get it to where it is now. We all know that when we sit to talk of great nations, we can never exclude the United States of America. America has been of great influence to many countries in the world in terms of support and many others. On this note I would like to wish all Americans a happy independence day. Before this day, lot of events had taken place until it finally got to a point that America had to separate themselves from the rule of the Great Britain. This event particularly took place on the 4th of July,1776.           Maybe a brief history would give us an idea of why Americans cherish this occasion like that, especially to those who wonder why.        Almost everyday football around the globe keeps getting better and better. Now it almost appears to me that it is the most cheered and fancied game in the world. Football as a game, I believe was not only meant for players to kick balls into nets and entertain fans but probably also meant to serve as an institution for peace, togetherness and love among all humans or race. Now what do we see, some and intact most football fans are stepping out of this peaceful zone into God-knows-where else. I am speaking of how hooliganism has currently taken such a huge rise in most of worlds football. Maybe just before I continue let me break down what hooliganism means and probably somewhere in this article I will include some of its effects.               What comes in mind when one decides to think? And what makes one think? Does thinking affect our way of life? Was just on my bed the other day when I started having thoughts of previous events in my life. Some where good, and others not so good. I believe people think for a reason. Not because they plan to but sometimes thoughts just kick in without any efforts at all.                Just imagine you want to live a good life in the near future. Surely you will start to think about how to gain money for all these things that came in mind. Take a scenario as a girl when a guy keeps showing interest. Surely you will start wondering why he wants you. Is it because of smile, maybe your hips, perhaps the way you talk.          Colourism May be no different from racism in the sence that with racism it refer to the situation where a particular race or people feel supreme over another race or group of people and with colourism, the skin colour is the main factor here such that to some people, light skinned people are somewhat better than dark skinned people. This issue of colourism is most of the time expressed and experienced by ladies/women in and around the world. Now I ask, is Ghana any different when it comes to this particular situation? Gone are the days when our ancestors were so proud of each other no matter what colour they looked like, but now it seems like one appears to be a social misfit when he or she is dark skinned.
