Dawn Of Regrets?

Image
Just like the dawn, I wake with regret, For words, I sent but cannot reset. Though they brought joy, it seems so unkind, That's what you loved, I’ve left behind. Often I wonder, will you forgive, What are the moments of carelessness in how I live? Your love, so pure, deserve the best, Yet sometimes I need to improve in this test. Cherished is the bond we share, More precious than words can declare. I’m sorry, love, for any pain, I never meant to leave a stain. Hope in my heart, you’ll understand, And take once more this outstretched hand. With every beat, I vow anew, To honour the love I have for you. Every moment I get to express, My deep devotion, my happiness. Yet, in my haste, I sometimes miss, The chance to leave you with a kiss. Believe me, love, I’m heartfelt, In every word, though they disappear. I’ll make it right and with my soul, Give you my heart, my every goal. Endlessly, I’ll try once more, To show you love like never before. You mean the world, the sky, the sea, With...

I remember

Image
I remember when your affection corrupted my conscience _Nothing made sense but you_ _Nothing mattered but you_ _Nothing made me twitch more than you_ I remember when your delicate hands displaced my strongest foundations _Made me roll my eyes backwards in ecstasy_ _Made me curl my toes in unimaginable pleasure_ _Made me swallow your fountain of sputum in sheer lust_ I remember when we damaged ourselves in our infatuation _For with you, every pain was amorously bearable_ _For with you, dying is just one of those phases_ _For with you, murder was a necessary evil should hurdles arise I remember how dramatic I was _I wanted to see the very end of eternity with you _I wanted to die knowing that I lived and loved _I wanted to idolize every inch of the earth your feet blessed Now I don't want to remember.... Buried In Your Bones

Image
Mr. Independent I don't know what to give you I don't know what to get you Mr. Independent You control time and space But you don't know how they function Mr. Independent You give love in essence But you don't know how to earn it   You thought me how to cave in To your needs and wanting I don't know what to get you That will lift my ego A giving that will weigh than feathers I see through you But I didn’t see who you were before you rose to Independence, independence, independ... Now, I see through you But I didn't see who you were before You formed ashes in the clouds My independent When I give you gold coins You swallow them And they return as gold leaves Mr. Independent When I clean your floors Your pour unto it debris When I distill your water You pour in earth I can't think what to get you     Mr. Independent you said Clothes are for those Who are naked and can be seen Tha...

Silent wail

Image
A smote into our hearts When our sons disregard our hunts Look they spake of a revolution Hearkenin to its civilization Harsh! You hear of their nuts And turned gay to their chants Yet its complexity never satisfied your anxiety Your memories are filled with darkness, Which can never lighten up your curiosity For we taught we have moulded your hearts We cried for your impetuous acceptance Their erronous culture never suited you but you undoubtedly followed Did we not clothe you? Did we not feed you? Did we not teach you? Your bodies now refuse to be clothed Your mouth now neglects her breast Your mind keeps on to be entangled with fear You look but never see Your *eyes* never heard our cries Why do you besought now? When you Don't even know where your leg stands. Nichole Jane Asare 09/09/17

A CLARION CALL

Image
The clarion call sounded A sound of heartbreak Why keep mute Why should sons of the land Devour the land And live a merciless land at hand Its lips tremble for water Its eye seek for a bosom. A shattered grain of hope The bemoans of the land. Did i tell you i was dumb? Cried out the son of the land. Dumb not are you but like two silly lambs do you follow ignorance Be perturbed be vigilant The land is ours to make Jane Nichole Asare

KILLED IN A CRADLE

Image
The fortuneteller couldn't tell his fortune The priest couldn't baptize him He was killed in the cradle while he slept Abortion was a better fate But what he had was misfortunes He has no chance to suckle He had no chance wiggle He had no chance to cry at midnight He had no chance to crawl He had no chance to eat the dirt while he played He had no chance to smile at his parents He was killed in a cradle while he slept Executed by a unilateral jury He experienced no love He experienced no attention He had never had a lullaby sang to him He had no hugs nor kisses He was killed at birth How would the world know how mighty or small he could have been. He never made anyone proud . Perhaps he was a mistake, says the mother . He was just a fantasy . Nothing beyond a mere conception His father could not pat his little head Nor was he able to hold his little finger He couldn't show him his love He could never had been the father . He never had to scold hi...

Please lie to me

Image
_Like a drowning man I hopelessly clutch at your straw_ _An anchor so feeble against billows still I dare ask for more_ _Why deny my ears the compensation of that sweet sensation_ _Of that which feels so true yet so false in your declaration_ _Deceptive your words were but I clung to them_ _Even as you sung hyperbolic fabrications as an anthem_ _I felt so blessed by your seemingly cursed lies_ _And I pray you continue to blind with scales my very eyes_ _Sugar-coated, candied, sweetened and nectarous_ _Sipping from your desecrated cup neglecting its poisonous_ _The harsh reality my heart endeavours to bear_ _Just one lie from you to me will prove you care_ Rick Biggerman (18/08/17)

I LOVE YOU

Image
I love the spell you cast on me It is the best thing I ever felt Make me your prisoner and never set free Cliché,but you just make my heart melt So sweet ; you make me drool like mad I pray my infatuation has no cure Your breasts alone...oh my God Every trouble for it I will endure Tease me unend with the icing on your lips Resisting them makes the urge unbearable It's almost as if the swaying of your hips Makes the man in me quite insatiable When I watch your ass as you walk I feel like the luckiest man alive The beautiful dangling of your sexy bulk Creates a thirst I always want to relive The tingling you send down my loins A thousand aphrodisiacs can't compare Come lay and warm my groins Cos you and I make the perfect pair Poetry by: Rick Biggerman, Prince Rockson

Gods of the unknown

Image
I have lingered through the dark. Like a fearless stag, I walk. To a land I have heard of , To a mystery I am pertained. To an unknown source I strengthen. They tell me I am good for them . Good for their success. But in real life I am but an object Object of sacrifice to the god of the unknown. They use my parts for rituals . Saying I consist the perfect matter, I entangled with them in this dance of a worthless battle. I know I am right and they wrong . But they say they have a god , A god who redeems . Putting my beliefs to dormancy. They dominate my body . Crawling to my soul. There I die of worthlessness. I die of shame . There I die in bondage . I die in shame . Fear has clouded me because I have borne out my unknown before them. Now they use my pain , grief and secrets to haunt and taunt me . But I have seen shame and disgust , And they look alike . I have seen a light that gave me hope . I remembered where I fell ...
A Crowd Smelling of Gasoline #Imaginereality How soon The rains did throw you to the grounds How soon You lay prostrate, Found a crack within the ground to bury your face How soon, The walls don’t hear voice Then suddenly voices from the chambers appear like a dream These walls have broken down to give way, To the crowd You did lose your innocence But it was nothing compared to how the moon judged you differently previously, After that first kiss The numbers were few who told you to continue Then you did Now you have succeeded in throwing fire into the crowd They will cry for themselves They will throw their tears unto you They will shout every moan to the heavens They will mention your name like a curse And the heavens will descend onto earth, On a horse with scrolls And the scrolls will be spread even amongst those who weren’t part of the crowd. Even ghosts will feel your fire And be spread, your ...

UNSAID EMOTIONS

Image
My voice,so thick of unshed emotions Assisted by my protruding red eyes of heavy tear drops like mangoes falling hard on the ceiling of my eyelid With my hands shaking, blatantly refusing to be stable An overwhelming tumult of emotions clad by the icy fingers of sorrows A void of loneliness you left in my heart;marred by a deep wound, scarlet scar that burns deep down my soul like a hot iron slammed unto my disfigured face Pushed away by the same hands that gently brought me at ease when in distress with my heart bleeding profusely like water gushing out of a pipe hole Your partial rejection constantly flashes upon my blur memory like a horror movie but so I searched longingly hoping to see you cast a glance at my pleading eyes. TIME

Image
Slowly it moves, Down to the next minute, and the little that move never returns Ooh how foolish I was to watch it tig away. How do I recover my wasted time? Pls someone help me turn back the hand of time. For thousands of things I wish to do. If I plead with it, will it at least wait? How long will it wait for me to correct my mistakes? oooh time!!!! Why rule us with so much violence? You have no friend, even when we all want to be ur friend. Oooh time, how I wish you could be my friend so I can lazy around without you leaving me behide. Tig tag - tig tag, it moves slowly, as if its waits but to no mans favour. If only I could turn back the hand of time, the world will be a better place. #Think Poetry. Article By: Richard Innocent.

THE MASK

Image
The mask I wear is the face you see The mask is so happy, so full of life The mask I wear has eyes that look like they have never seen any evil The mask I wear has a smile so beautiful The mask I wear covers the truth The truth of how my life is nothing but darkness How i think before I go to sleep My body aches in pain with bruises How I cry myself to sleep How I'm told everything is my fault How I tasted my own blood How the one who tells me they love me Turns around and causes me pain The mask I wear hides the pain The mask is the face you see Till I become strong enough to stop the pain. Mohammed Ali was cover with mask of popularity, but death will unmask us all someday.  Article By: Imoh Innocent

A Broken Record

Image
When I started to write My brain relapsed And I became blind. I resembled A broken record. So I turned My art into singing devilish songs                            When the moon settled on my thighs, The sun hid behind my head And I hid behind the stars,   Slit the world into two, Just to expose the quintessence of the Earth's failure. I ended up feeling a little warmth in my eyes The sound I make with this delicate organ Is joy that reflect my past glory, Was I able to slit the world into two? I am hoping it slowly turn true in your heart; Or quickly find its way into the reef of the ocean in your eyes. When I truly start to write My voice will smoothen like silk I will burn A rose -- petal by petal And melt its fragrance into nothingness. No, I will rather be stronger And control blank space Within the walls of An empty room I am that light that ...

LIFE IN A CITY(untold truth)

Image
I was standing by the fence with a bag in my hand Feeling sad and confused.i just didn't understand The day of departure was near,a voice came screaming I thought I was dreaming Reality,I planned to face with no choice I felt so nervous but I knew soon I might rejoice Devasted I felt, but I had a giant step to make That feeling I had was no mistake These thoughts of circulation went through my mind As I thought one day will look behind To a place I call home As my feet stepped on the street of the city,i knew my new basement to lay my head each night A scruffy corner,i guess to be right Encountering alot of misery untold Waiting for others to be unfold To face the war,i had to hustle through Realizing i threw the truth Drawing my past made me knew I had much to renew. My savanna was better than a rainy forest.

PIECES

It's beautiful They say It wobbles Some say It has no foundation Some think It will collapse They believe But no It does none It has a foundation I know It's strong Just in pieces It will stand the storm Even in pieces My heart In pieces Stronger than yours As a whole Article By: Ophelia Ackon                     (Phelia_GH)                     Western Region,Ghana.
