SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS

Over the few years a very good number of social media platforms have risen up. From Google+ to tango, from telegram to viber, whatsapp to imo, instagram to snapchat, wechat, just to mention a few. Each one being unique in its own way.
A survey conducted to find out which one is the best and the reason for the choices revealed some amazing facts. Google+ mainly characterized by gmail not very popular in our part of the world even as much as more and more gmail users are rising due to the boom of smartphones. Tango came up and showed class but not many spoke about it because during its reign normal use of sms was effective and efficient. From the survey one unique thing about telegram was the ability to send multimedia messages including documents. But the storage size of the app was nothing to write home about;very large. Facebook which I learnt had been in the system from 2004 got popular around 2010. It became the number one media for socialization. One could add as many as 4000+ friends. An interesting feature about facebook is 'like'; post a picture and hit some likes which made it very interesting. From website it developed its application which even non smartphones could download and use. Viber gained popularity due to its voice call around 2012/13 yet failed to beat whatsapp although it had all the features plus one whatsapp possessed.
Developing from symbian phones whatsapp rose steadily due to the low data charges and this overtook the normal sms system we were used to. Currently it is one of the outstanding ones because even those who lack phones that can use WhatsApp have it on their computers. WeChat also came up yet couldn't stand due to the upgrade of whatsapp and Facebook. Instagram also has it, fantastic features ; purposely for showcasing photos. A very important feature about IG is it can be linked to one's Twitter and Facebook accounts. So once posted on Instagram ,automatically its on Facebook and twitter.
Twitter has been in the system for sometime and many say if you want authentic news get it from twitter. This shows the authenticity and reliability of the app. However  diminishing factors include the  limitation of words when one wants to tweet and difficult to handle
IMO which is argued to be the best has amazing features such as animations , drawings and the best voice and video call app. Almost all features in their best form could be found here. You receive a notification once a contact begins to use IMO .
Wow! Truly amazing. Technology has really improved lives. In the days of old communication was mainly through telegraph and mails but  in recent times so many social media have risen to the occasion to grace our generation. But i think you'll judge the best depending on how you use it. However just as the survey was conducted and the majority voted IMO i also stand for IMO

Humans have achieved huge growth in the short term and long term. Thus, whoever  saw the new comer never taught it will be this magnificent.
